Pear cactus is a familiar sight at Brushy Hill Ranch, and throughout South Texas. Pear cactus flats are a popular place for bowhunters hunting trophy whitetail deer and Rio Grande Turkey in South Texas. Brushy Hill offers some of South Texas' BEST bowhunting at prices the average person can afford. If you're looking for a great place to bowhunt, that you can afford to hunt often, come hunt with us at Brushy Hill Ranch!

We have a lot of plans, and big hopes, for BrushyHill.com; but it'll take some time. Over the next few months, though, we'll be adding a lot more information, photos of the ranch, wildlife, facilities and more! We're also hoping to launch a discussion forum where Brushy Hill regulars can get together and chat online and where propective/new hunters can post questions and get information from other hunters who are already familiar with the ranch! In addition, we're in the process of mapping the entire ranch on a Garmin GPS unit- our hope is to be able to provide a GPS map showing every road, feeder, water source and corn route on the ranch!

We'd also like to get your input as well! If you are one of our hunters and have a picture of one of your trophys (shot at Brushy hill, of course!) or just a great photo from your hunt you'd like to share, please email it to our web guy and he'll post it in the picture galleries! If you're thinking about booking a hunt with us, and can't find the information you need, please email us and we'll make sure to get it to you and to include it on the website!

We're going to be posting some great wild-game recipes for all the types of game hunted at Bruushy Hill as well as some BBQ and hunting camp recipes- harvesting your animal is only half the work! If you have a recipe you'd like to share, let us know.
